We’ve been seriously spoiled here in Steamboat with another round of fresh snow and 6 days in a row of powder newness. Storm skiing is what we love to do more than anything else and this storm system keeps giving. After yesterday’s massive layer, this new one was less but lighter, fluffier and easier to navigate. Not that 16″ isn’t great, but another 5″ of heaven on top made for some epic cat skiing and riding.
As one guest put it clearly in the office at the end of the day, “Man, that did not suck!” We guess that means he had a great time.
Tomorrow, according to the forecasts, this storm looks to break and sunshine reappears again in our lives. It’s been a fantastic run of stormy weather and a bit of sunshine therapy won’t hurt. When will the next system appear….next Friday?
