2008-09 reservation news: We will be opening our reservations on July 1st for return guests looking for private cats. On the 15th of July, then only to return guests booking with smaller groups or individuals. On August 1st, we will open to all others, i.e. first timers, looking to ski with us next winter. We will have new rates and info ready come the 15th of June.

Celebrating 27 years of snowcat skiing

Welcome to snowcat skiing at its finest, Colorado style. A trip powder skiing with us will be one of your best days skiing or snowboarding ever. From mid December to the end of March, our snowcats are ready to take you and your crew deep into the powder of Steamboat Springs, where the skiing is epic and the snow is the best in the world.

Our 10,000 acres of permitted snowcat skiing terrain on Buffalo Pass, just 20-min. from downtown Steamboat Springs, receives some of the deepest, driest and most consistent snowfall in all of the Rocky Mountains. With 3 custom snow cats in our fleet, we promise to separate our guests by ability level so you will be skiing and riding the terrain to match your deep powder skills. A day with Steamboat Powdercats will reward you with that classic powder day you deserve.

Beyond all the great snowcat skiing, powder, friends and action, we document your trip and provide a complimentary image disk as a gift.
