Two cats out today. Yesterday’s snow quality remained stellar, and the bluebird skies enhanced the experience. Beuford, our photographer, had great conditions to work with for his ski photography. As you know, we take hundreds of photos of our guests, guides, cats, and scenic landscapes as part of our effort to “tell the story” each and every day. Our ski photography has become a great tool to show you exactly what the conditions are like. We create daily “best of slideshows” which we then post to our blog in order to give everybody a visual taste of our, and your day.
Today was special for our photography because we had two professional photographers along with us, besides Beuford. John Fielder was out once again for his annual trip. John is one of Colorado’s premiere landscape photographers, and is a legend in the industry. You should definitely check out his website here.
Barry Kulick, a wildlife photographer hailing from Florida was also on board with us today. As an experienced marine life photographer, Barry spends a vast amount of time under the water. It was a privilege to have him skiing with us today, and able to check out our ski photography a full 10,379 feet above sea level. Check out his below sea level photography here.
Though neither of these photographers had their gear in use today, they were focused on sweet sweet powder turns instead while letting Beuford work his own ski photography magic. Check out the slide show here from the day:
