Mountains to Canyons
Multi Sport Combo - Snowcat skiing and whitewater
rafting, 2 day adrenaline cocktail.
This one of a kind adventure, for
groups of 6 or more, will take advantage of March's warm weather
and mix up the perfect adrenaline cocktail where you'll be
snowcat
skiing one day and rafting down a class IV, desert wilderness
canyon the next.
The rate is $500 per guest and includes everything,
the snowcat skiing, the rafting, transportation to and from,
taxes, light breakfast, full catered lunches, gear, guides,
photos and all the rest.
You ask, it must be cold on the river? We'll more than likely,
air temperatures will be from the mid 70's to the mid 50's
as we drive into the desert west of Steamboat Springs by about
1 and 3/4 hour.
We provide all wetsuit equipment for you and will advise
all guests as to what to wear for the trip. It's surprisingly
mild and water temps are not as cold as you think.
There are 4 class IV rapids and many class III's to keep
the action coming. Water levels fluctuate depending on snow
melt and trips are weather dependent; i.e. if it snows, we'll
probably go skiing.
If you don't wish to ski, but would like to come rafting
anyway, the cost is $120/person and we'll be running this
trip all spring until the river becomes to high during runoff,
sometime in late May till early June.
