We are now offering a March Madness special for this season. We will be lowering our rates for the end of March (March 14-April 10) to attract many of you to revisit or spur first timers to coming and play.

This would also be a great time for you to organize a private cat for your end of season party or another excuse to fire up your crew and get one more epic day in the powder.

If you look at years past, March can provide some of our best skiing and riding. With all of our terrain available and space typically wide open in our cats, we can reward you with one more day deep in the backcountry.

Last season for instance from the 24th - 29th of March we had a huge storm arrive which blew our guests away. The 26th was a remarkable day with 16" of champagne powder arriving for our groups. It was face shot after face shot, lap after lap after lap.

In 2008, it was the deepest snowpack ever recorded in Steamboat. We saw new snow on March 18 - 22 setting up that last week of our season for primo skiing and riding.

Time will tell us how the 09/10 March and April will work out. Of course we will be operating our snowcats no matter the snow. But we are anticipating an El Niño influenced, wet March and April (don't hold that to us) and we hope this discounted special, March Madness snowcat adventure will inspire you to visit.
