After the foot of fresh dumped yesterday our crews were psyched again for today, even though we received no new snow. This morning, the mercury at Dry Lake was a nippy -4 degrees, which was even colder than yesterday – OUCH! The plus side to this cold was it sucked what little moisture was in the snow, resulting in EPIC, cold, smoky, fresh pow conditions. The cold, white clouds behind our guests as they ripped thru the fresh were a reminder to us why the snow on Buff Pass is LEGENDARY!
With plenty of light and dry snow up on the pass, we can’t wait to see what we can get after tomorrow to blast out of 2014!
