When the trees turn white and the sky turns blue, powder hounds everywhere flock to the mountains to experience a rare style of skiing only obtainable just after a storm. When this happens, the southern facing snow is just fresh enough to ski and the sun screen is just strong enough to keep your face from roasting. The window to get the pow and the views at its ripest prime is narrow so get it while its there because in an instant it will be gone.
Impermanent moments like these make skiing in white trees and blue skies very memorable experiences.
