Rachel is a New Hampshire native who after graduating St. Lawrence College with a degree in environmental studies discovered the West and never looked back.
Prior to becoming a guide with Steamboat Powdercats in 2007, Rachel lived and worked at the Mt. Hood ski resort in Washington where she was a pro patroller for 2 years.
When Rachel is not out in the powder, she is exploring the Central Cascade mountain range and has worked as an Outward Bound instructor there for several seasons.
Rachel has a great love for mountains and the natural environment which she explores by cabalist of river raft, alpine and tele ski and surf board.
Steamboat Powdercats operates under special use permits from the Routt - Medicine Bow National Forest and is an equal opportunity service provider.
