Adventure Guide Rex was born in Boulder, Colorado and was raised with three sisters and a brother in Glenwood Springs, Colorado. At the age of six, Rex joined the Ski Sunlight Ski Team, where he raced for the following nine years. During the last two years of his racing career Rex qualified for the Junior Olympic Qualifiers, placing 19th. Rex moved to Steamboat in 1988, where he was recently married to his wife Susan. Together they are very active in the arts and other community events. In addition to serving as the Operations Guru for all of Steamboat Powdercats’ heavy equipment, Rex is an entrepreneur who runs his own trucking company.
