Adaptive Skiing Program
The Steamboat All Mountain Ski Camp has visited SPC every year since 2002.
We at SPC donate all our seats for the camp and it has always been a guides favorite day as helping our adaptive friends get some face shots is about as good as it gets.
This camp became even more special to us when our own Dave Genchi was injured during a snowboard incident while working with us on the Buffalo Pass in December 2006.
Over the years, we’ve worked with these adaptive skiers, be it amputee, blind or sit skiers, in hopes to extend the world of powder skiing with Steamboat Powdercats to all those looking for the fresh, backcountry turn.
