We are sharing the Medicine Bow-Routt National Forest's recent request for public input so they can hear from you about their developed recreation fee proposal that they have laid out on their website. See the link in bio to view this. They are proposing a fee increase or new rates for 93 developed recreation sites in the forest, including the parking lot and campground at Dry Lake where we base our operations. As a longtime partner with the USFS, we are just sharing this so you can provide direct feedback to them. This is your chance to weigh in on Forest policy. Thanks for being an active public.

NOW HIRING - Lead Mechanic, Snowcat Skiing Guide, part-time Photographer. We are now accepting applications for several jobs at Steamboat Powdercats for the 2023/24 season. View full job descriptions on our website. Link in bio. In the next few months, we will be interviewing qualified applicants and will look to finalize these positions by this September. All positions would be expected to start working with us in early December, except the mechanic position which will start earlier. If you or any of your family, friends, or colleagues are looking for a fun-filled, rewarding, and amazing, seasonal outdoor profession have them look at our website and send us their resume and cover letters. We are delighted to announce the launch of a new summer program here at Steamboat Powdercats, guided mountain bike tours led by the guides you know and love. You can review our Mountain Bike Tours webpage on our website to get all the details, but in general, these tours will cater to beginner to advanced riders who are looking to advance their skills while learning all about the trail system on Emerald Mountain, here in downtown Steamboat Springs. These tours will be private and custom to your needs, with up to 4 guests per guide and at a maximum of 4 hours per tour. Please email luc@steamboatpowdercats if you are interested in booking one of these tours this summer. Also, help us spread the word if you have anyone visiting Steamboat Springs as this is a new offering, and word-of-mouth referrals are a great help for us. Image courtesy of @noahwetzel
