Caroline Doyle – Backcounty Snowcat Ski Guide

Caroline is originally from Santa Fe, New Mexico, but has spent the last 10 years living all over the west. She briefly called Santa Cruz, California home while attending UCSC (go Banana Slugs!) before finishing her degree in Recreation and Outdoor Education at Western Colorado University in Gunnison, CO.

Upon finishing college she promptly began finding work that kept her outside all the time and has worked as an outdoor educator, ski instructor, bike patroller and raft guide.

Throughout the years skiing has been a huge passion and has led her to seek out living in places, like Steamboat, that are known for their POW! She learned to ski as a wee little child, thanks to her dad, and has loved sliding on snow as long as she can remember.

Prior to calling Steamboat home, she spent a few winters in Silverton, Colorado exploring the mighty San Juans. In the summer she calls the Salmon and Snake rivers of Idaho home and spends most of her time rowing boats through big water and sleeping under the stars.
