Harrison Whittemore – Photographer

Harrison started with Steamboat Powdercats in the 2025/2026 season and works as one of our photographers.

A front-range native, Harrison grew up playing in the mountains of Colorado. After finishing high school in Boulder during 2020, he took a hiatus from the mountain west and moved to Washington, where he studied neuroscience at Whitman College (’25) while working as an Instructor for Outward Bound in the summers. It was during college that he found his passion for photography and began working in the rafting and climbing scene.

In his off-season, Harrison works for the Colorado Outward Bound School in Moab and Leadville, instructing backcountry rafting, backpacking, and canyoneering trips.
