  • When cats and seats are available, you can book them by clicking on a cat that you want to go on and following prompts.

  • 10 guests maximum per snowcat with private and non-private cat options. Learn more about how we book by ability levels here.

  • If you click on an ‘Open’ cat, then you will have the choice to set the ability level of that cat.

  • This calendar is color-coded with Black being Level III, Red being Level II, and Blue being Level I snowcats. We only run 3 snowcats maximum per day. We typically only run 1 Level III (Black) snowcat per day.

LEVEL I

The Level I tour is our most important level for many reasons. It is the introduction to the backcountry experience for people who have not yet experienced it. It helps you work toward what everyone craves: powder, faces shots and the camaraderie of skiing in a small group on ungroomed fresh snow terrain.

LEVEL I

LEVEL II

In our Level II tour, we ski and ride at an up-tempo pace and our guests must already be confident in the powder and capable of navigating trees. We will ski much of the diverse terrain similar to our Level I tour, but we will also be heading into forests of aspen and spruce trees and some steeper zones.

LEVEL II

LEVEL III

Our Level III guests actively seek out the most advanced terrain and deepest powder at any ski area and have no problem with blue, black or double-black runs. Many of our guests in this level have been on other heli or snowcat operations in the past and/or are active backcountry enthusiasts.
