  • Read about how we book our seats during the summer months here.

  • You can book seats by clicking on a cat that you want to go on and following prompts.

  • Each of our cats hold 12 guests and is booked via an ability level.

  • If you click on an ‘Open’ cat, then you will have the choice to set the ability level of that cat.

  • If a cat is showing 12/12 this means the cat is full. 4/12 means 4 seats are booked on that cat.

  • We only run 1 Level III (Black) snowcat per day.

  • The Backcountry Tour is a non-motorized touring experience done on a private group basis with 1-3 guests.  Please inquire on the date you are interested in if you see the date already full.

  • We book on a first come first serve basis starting in June 15 every season.  Return guests who want the same day, ability and # of seats can rebook those exact seats before June 15.  After June 15, we will make this calendar open for you to send inquiries.  After August 15, we make this calendar live for online bookings.

The Level I tour is our most important level for many reasons. It is the introduction to the backcountry experience for people who have not yet experienced it. It helps you work toward what everyone craves: powder, faces shots and the camaraderie of skiing in a small group on ungroomed fresh snow terrain.

In our Level II tour, we ski and ride at an up-tempo pace and our guests must already be confident in the powder and capable of navigating trees. We will ski much of the diverse terrain similar to our Level I tour, but we will also be heading into forests of aspen and spruce trees and some steeper zones.

Our Level III guests actively seek out the most advanced terrain and deepest powder at any ski area and have no problem with blue, black or double-black runs. Many of our guests in this level have been on other heli or snowcat operations in the past and/or are active backcountry enthusiasts.
