Thank you for being part of our world.

Grateful, relieved, satisfied, thankful, and excited for next year are some of the sentiments our staff has been expressing now that this ’20/’21 season is behind us.  Wow, what a season it was. We are grateful and thankful to all of you who braved a global pandemic and shared your time with us. We are relieved and satisfied that we made it happen, created and stuck to our COVID plan, and completed the season without one case of COVID entering our snowcats, let alone any sickness at all. And most importantly we are excited for next year in hopes that things can get back to some level of normalcy.

For all of you who couldn’t visit us this season, we hope you got outside and enjoyed a few powder days. Time spent on the snow, outside with family and friends, in search of adventure and fresh lines is so important to our physical and mental health.  Congrats to you who got after it.  Life is too short and powder days are too important.

We want to let everyone know that we are working diligently on next year’s plan of operations. We will be holding off on laying out this plan until at least the end of May. We still need time to figure things out.  After all the adjustments we made to our program this season, we are now reviewing everything in order to establish our new normal. Your patience, as always, is greatly appreciated.  Once ready, we will let you all know with a follow-up e-blast, blog, and social media postings.

With that said, we can confidently tell you that we will be running non-private cats again as well as getting rid of the 6-guest maximum.  How many guests will be in the cats and exactly how many non-private cats we will be offering on any given day are the big questions that we are working on at the moment. Stay tuned!

Until then, much love and gratitude to all of you in the Powdercats Nation.  Be well, stay strong, and keep getting after it in whatever you do.

Your friends at Steamboat Powdercats.

We headed to Utah after we closed on March 27th for a social distancing biking, rappelling, skiing, and chilling mission.  What fun we have on and off the snow together.
